Who is Logo Watch Dog:
Logo Watch Dog was formed by ex-DMOZ top ranking editors, their main goal is to organize and set one high standard for the corporate identity and business developers of the world. It seems as though the are too many logo companies starting a business out of their basement and making it look like they have a huge corporation, we have nothing against this, but cheating the customer out of their money, making false promises, and cheating the
search engine spiders for top placement is unfair competition.
We have gone through a great deal of hard work to research each logo design company one by one and post the top sites that deserve to be in the top position...
Each logo design site is individually ranked according to our standards. Our volunteer editors actually contact each design firm via telephone and e-mail, in some cases we also place a real order with each logo company. Our editors begin to rate the logo companies based on service, design methods, final product, etc. Each editor then posts a complete
rating for the firm.
We want to stop the misleading and scams and begin the expose the rotten apples that have given the logo design business a bad name, while leading business owners to top design and business development companies. Companies that can help them build their business and achieve success.
How Are We Different:
Logo Watch Dog's strong point is that it is made up of numerous editors that are all volunteers and have no ties whatsoever to any design company. Their job is to verify all the companies that request to be reviewed
by Logo Watch Dog and give them our seal of approval. They review every part of their business service, web site, and search engine ranking methods. We go as far as contacting each design company via telephone and e-mail.
The companies do not know that Logo Watch Dog is behind the call. In some cases we also place an order with the design firms to gather more information.
The Better Business Bureau gives their seal of approval to anyone that pays their yearly fee. They do not verify if the information that is supplied to them is correct. This is very misleading to the consumer.
Logo Watch Dog rates each company
based on a large number of element. Each one is reviewed by multiple editors. The end result is quality reports on each design firm, which will allow the new business owner to choose the right design firm for their needs.
We also have freelance writers that educate the new business owner on many business topics from search engine ranking to business plans and legal issues. We will send out free weekly newsletters with these articles. The full version of the article and past articles will always be posted in our reading section along with our BLOG area.
We will also have a FREE legal corner where small business owners will be able to ask lawyers questions without having to pay huge legal
fees.
Long Term Planning:
Logo Watch Dog will be launching a huge marketing blitz within the next 24 months. We have allocated $300 000 in order to do this properly. Search engine marketing, magazine advertisements, we even have a jingle that will be played in radio spots across the US. We will make sure that Logo Watch Dog becomes the new and only standard for rating graphic design firms.
Our main goal is to educate the customer and put out of business the scam artists. Our slogan says it all: "Stop the scam artists and find the
graphic artists."
Setting a new standard in web site rating. Finally there is someone that will put a stop to the cheating sites and scam companies that have taken over the net. Our editors have no affiliation with any logo design sites. We do not accept any bribes, and if you are banned from this site there is no way to ever be listed here again. We are here to expose the rotten apples that have given the design industry a bad name.
